Good morning, dear readers!
Funny enough, I’m up and dressed.
You see, my hybrid Diversity and Identity class is today, but on Thursdays we’re online. So, there’s no real reason for me to be up before 8 a.m. But I am. My coffee buzz is very possibly still in my system–the effects of coffee can last in your system for 10-12 hours after you drink it–and I’m hungry.
I also have some homework I need to get done before my Senior Sem at 2 p.m.
This morning, I’ve decided to post YouTube videos of some of the music I’m listening to as my body proceeds to wake itself up.
Disclaimer: I don’t own the rights to any of these songs. The lyrics, cover art, etc. belong to their respective artists and their personal (or sponsored) record companies. I also do not own the rights to any of the Youtube videos. The artistic lyric videos also belong their to respective artists.
Wake Up Music
- Little Richard’s “Tutti Frutti”
- Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” (explicit version)
- “Briony” from Atonement
- Elizaverta’s “Dreamer”
- Mumford & Sons’ “Babel”
- Blue October’s “3 Weeks, She Sleeps”
I double-checked my handy-dandy citation book to look up whether or not song titles are put in quotation marks or italics. (Good thing I checked, because it turns out I was italicizing them before looking this up. I keep forgetting this rule?!) Yup, that’s an English major for ya!
Have a wonderful morning, early risers,
