Once again, I’ve decided to change my blog’s overall look.
I swear, every time I turn around there’s more cool ways to format your blog. It’s totally not fair!
For the second time, I’ve altered how Jump Rope looks. But this time, I think I’ll keep it. Penscratch is a lovely, clean kind of site.
For those of you who don’t know me, my logo is of my all-time favorite band in the United States: Blue October wiki page. I’m not ashamed to say that I’m very obsessed with their work and the group overall. I started out listening to their music since 2011, and I’ve become a fan of theirs ever since. The funny thing is that I have yet to see them in concert. I know that Blue October is gonna be in Minneapolis late spring on their Fear Tour, but I’m probably going to be swamped with finals.
At least I know that they come to Minneapolis once every tour. That would be one of the best graduation presents to myself: seeing my favorite band and one my personal heroes Justin Furstenfeld (Blue October’s lead singer and songwriter) in concert.
Justin has a writing style that has gone from angsty and depressed/anxious to happy and positive over the years. He writes with a poignant poetry that sounds real whenever he sings. The rest of the band is continuously in-sync with each other.
Until I can see them in concert, I’ll continue to listen eagerly to their music, especially the live concerts, which I’ve heard through my earbuds and on the web as being an incredible experience.
Looking forward to using more of Penscratch,
